Friday Night Lights

We've gone to two Bulldog football games this fall. It's been cold but nothing that a warm blanket and steaming hot cocoa can't fix. Our favorite part is running out on the field after the game!

Into Enemy Territory

For what stands to be our last camping trip of the season, we ventured north (until we could smell it) then east (until we stepped in it.) Then we saw the big barn labeled "Swine" so we knew we drove too far. Sufficed to say, we were in the land of the orange and black. We really had a fun weekend, explored the new stadium, and even ate at a tee shirt store (of all places) that the local's referred to as Joe's (frankly, it was mediocre food). It turned out to be a nice camping weekend, even though the first night was rather chilly. We were the only campers within sight. Here are a few snapshots from the weekend. (Gabe has requested these photos not be forwarded to Uncle Don.)

Blastoff!

We studied the sun and the moon in our first two weeks of homeschool. I managed to talk a couple of furniture store guys into giving me a free box, and the kids enjoyed traveling to outer space for a few days. Anyone need a rocket ship?
